Our 5th and Final Farm Dinner of the 2025 Season

Chef Emily spent her second year in Montana working a full season at Chance Farm, learning the ins and outs of growing food in this wild and beautiful state. No stranger to getting her hands dirty, she found it to be one of her most rewarding—and most humbling—experiences yet.

We're incredibly lucky to work with Josh Chance, whose passion, work ethic, and dedication to the soil shine through in every vegetable he grows. After following him around for eight months, dreaming up the idea of a Farm Dinner Series, the vision finally took root. We're thrilled to welcome Chance Farm back for their second year as a featured farm in Mountain Provision’s Farm Dinner Collaborative Series.

Chance Farm is a vibrant vegetable farm rooted in Bozeman, Montana, devoted to cultivating exceptional produce through organic practices and thoughtful land stewardship. Since 2018, farmer and owner Josh Chance has grown more than 30 varieties of vegetables for local farmers markets, restaurants, grocery stores, and a thriving CSA. Inspired by a permaculture course and shaped by hands-on experience across the country, Josh brings care and intention to every row he plants. At Chance Farm, growing food isn’t just a job—it’s a way of connecting with people and honoring the land.

Join us for a night filled with connection, community, and incredible flavor—set against Montana’s stunning landscape and centered around the true star of summer: the heirloom tomato (Chef Em’s favorite!).

Each menu is thoughtfully designed to highlight ingredients from all of the farms in our series, celebrating the full bounty of the season.

As these dinners are prepared outdoors and entirely on-site, no additions or substitutions can be accommodated. Due to the nature of our setting, we are unable to meet specific dietary preferences—thank you for understanding.

Gratuity is not included, but if you’d like to thank our hardworking crew, cash tips are warmly welcomed and go directly to our staff.

Part of the magic? The menu is a surprise. We let the land and the harvest lead the way, so the full menu is revealed the night of the event.

And finally, our events are BYOB—feel free to bring your favorite wine, beer, or spirit to enjoy alongside the meal.
